Q - Have any of the confessions on the site disturbed you? A - Yes. We believe that you would have to be insensate not to be shocked or disturbed by some of the confessions posted on the site, but we operate by the credo that is present in our manifesto: „Confessions are as we see ourselves. It is not always pretty but it is often illuminating.“
Q - The site is so simple. Why no graphics? Why no ads? A - We knew that in order for us to maintain a feeling of anonymity, we had to create a space far away from the noise of the internet. By offering no colour or imagery, the site becomes a blank slate where the emotions are created by the confessions, not the design.
