Als ich die Milch aus dem Kühlschrank nehmen will, trifft mich fast der Schlag. Kein Bier mehr! Hhmm. Was macht man da? Mal einen Tag ohne? Ich muss mich erstmal hinsetzen. Was nun? Die ganze Freude im Eimer? Das ganze gute Gefühl einfach so wegwerfen? Wegen Bier? Naja. Aber, man muss einfach mal überlegen. Der BuyNothingDay richtet sich ja gegen den Konsum ansich und vielleicht kann man da ja Nahrungs... ok... und Genussmittel ausschließen? Ich meine nichts kaufen bedeutet ja noch lange nicht, dass man Fasten soll? Hungern und verdursten wegen einer Aktion gegen die Konsumwut? Ich glaube, das hatten die Organisatoren nicht vor. Außerdem wollte ich mir ja noch bei Globetrotter einen neuen Fleecepulli kaufen (gegen die Kälte) und da gabs ja gerade welche recht günstig. Sonderangebot. Warten bis nächste Woche und dann gibts meine Größe (bin ziemlicher Durchschnitt, deshalb ist es mit Sonderangeboten immer so eine Sache) nicht mehr? Shit. Was mach ich nur? Ganz einfach! Ich mache aus dem BuyNothingDay für mich einfach einen BuySmartDay. Also smart einkaufen, wegen Sonderangeboten und so. Cool! Also los ins Auto und abgedüst über die 102 nach Steglitz. Alles cool alles super, gleich noch ein paar Trekkingsandalen (im Angebot) für den Sommer gekauft. So macht der November Spass. Mit Konsumentenrabatt, wie der Volkswirtschaftler sagen würde (der Betriebswirt sagt "Sparen", was aber nicht stimmt, denn man spart ja nur durch Konsumverzicht - da wären wir auch wieder beim BuyNothingDay). Mir fällt gerade ein, eine Abwandlung von BuyNothingDay wäre doch PayNothingDay und das reimt sich auch noch, ähm, irgendwie.
