Es ist nach wie vor ein Ferienort. Zumindest im Zentrum (die Stadt hat ca. 200.000 Einwohner) wirkt es wie ein Schweitzer Urlaubsort. In gefuehlt jedem Haus ist ein Hotel. Von hier aus kann man schoene Touren in die Umgebung unternehmen und es gibt auch durch die franzoesische Kolonialzeit einige Sehenswuerdigkeiten, z. B. ein Bahnhof, von dem aus 6 mal taeglich ein Zug in einen kleinen Bergort faehrt. Uberall werde Fruechte, Obst und Gemuese verkauft. Es gibt viele Gaertnereien hier. Die Hauptattraktion des Ortes jedoch, ein ca. 3,5 km langer Stausee, ist zurzeit trockengelegt. Das sieht schon komisch aus. Die weissen Gondelschwaene warten am Ufer und die Restaurants, welche sonst auf Stelzen im Wasser stehen wirken nicht wirklich einladend... | ||

bin noch auf der suche nach dem geeigneten USB kabel (das hatten wir doch schon mal ;-) ), dann gibts auch fotos.
